Located in Bangalore, Karnataka, this east-facing residence is structured through a clean and direct spatial layout. The plan is organized to maintain openness, with primary living spaces aligned towards the east for consistent daylight. Double-height volumes are introduced as central elements, defining scale and establishing strong visual connections across levels.
The architecture is driven by sectional variation rather than plan alone. Voids, skylights, and vertical connections introduce depth and hierarchy, creating a layered spatial experience. Balconies and terraces are integrated as extensions of the internal spaces, breaking the rigidity of the mass and offering continuous interaction between levels.
The design relies on air movement through carefully positioned openings. The material palette is contemporary and minimal, using clean surfaces and sharp contrasts to emphasize geometry and proportion. The overall experience is restrained yet expressive, with spaces that feel calm, immersive, and visually connected.
