N B. House

A residence defined by light, proportion, and clarity, the design responds thoughtfully to its context through a composition of clean, rectilinear volumes. Expansive openings and double-height glazing invites soft diffused light deep into the interiors, creating a bright yet calm living environment. At its core, a skylit pooja space acts as a serene spiritual anchor, marked by a vertical shaft of light that enhances its quiet presence.

The spatial planning unfolds as a seamless sequence of open and semi-private zones, allowing for fluid movement and strong visual continuity throughout the home. Living areas extend outward into balconies and landscaped edges, gently dissolving the boundary between interior and exterior. Passive strategies such as cross ventilation and the stack effect, enabled by vertical voids, contribute to a naturally comfortable indoor climate.

A refined palette of natural wood, marble, and stone lends the architecture a timeless and elegant character. The façade strikes a careful balance between solidity and transparency, resulting in a contemporary expression that feels both grounded and sophisticated—an architecture shaped by light, air, and spatial harmony.
